So venom. It's coming veterans coming. nothing we can do about that it's not changing it exists. It's coming. Let's hope for the best Let's hope for the best movie possible. But Sony seems to be way ahead of most of us when it comes to planning for it. How ahead exactly are they?
Well,we've heard the director he has an idea for a trilogy Tom Hardy himself signed on for three movies if it happens. So it's kind of like forward thinking kind of backwards thinking sort of way I'm naturally he can appear maybe in two venom movies and a crossover, maybe three venom movies. But then what do you do? It's a big success like that. Right? And I think that's the biggest back there here. And that's the big question with the big question mark. Right. Sony certainly wants this to be like a spider man killer franchise. And maybe it will be maybe it will be but at the same time, they have to be careful because how much trust is there really, for their brand and what they're trying to do? Right? You see what I'm saying here?
They've been so quick to jump the shark with what they want to do that they never think of. What if you know what if the amazing Spider Man two bombed they didn't think of that when they announced three, four and like to spin offs and hired countless other writers to develop other projects. They didn't think of that and look at what happened. You know, venom could be a great movie but is there confidence there because if it's a great movie, they should be ready to start production within a year but we we don't know if they are not it's one of these things where you know, we see Tom Hardy sign on for three movies and that's great. That's awesome if the movies great but at the same time, what if the movies bad? You know, what are you going to do? What's your option here? And I don't think they've thought that through. And the director certainly had some ideas but we don't even know if he's going to stay around or take on other projects. So everything just kind of seems to be a little bit of a mess in regards to this. And what happens when Morpheus does that movie. Go on. If this film fails,
see what's happening. None of it makes sense.
